The following rules must be followed at all times. The forum warning system is used to enforce these rules. The staff reserves the right modify these rules at any time.
You may NOT:
- Post, upload, link to, or otherwise make available any content that may be deemed inappropriate, illegal, or unnecessary. This could include, but is not limited to:
- Malicious code
- Viruses
- Spyware
- Adware
- Warez (illegal software)
- Copyrighted content without permission from the creator
- Pornography
- Have more than one account (send me a PM if you would like to change your username)
- Flame, troll, spam, or otherwise vandalize the forum
- Impersonate, manipulate, discriminate, stalk, insult, or otherwise be disrespectful of others
- Use profanity in your posts
- Misquote or modify the words of another
- Post others personal information or email address without their permission
Regarding Signatures and Avatars:
- Your signature image is limited to 500x80 pixels
- You can only have 3 lines of text if there is an image (in default font size)
- You can only have 6 lines of text if there is no image (in default font size)
- You may only have one image
Avatar limits are explained on your edit avatar page. If you have any signature size violations, they will be corrected by the staff, a message will be left in your signature, and you will receive a 0-point warning the first time. If you violate the signature guidelines again, you will receive a 2 point warning.
Warnings and Bans:
We use the built in forum warning system and banning system for punishments. Warnings can range from 0 to 10 points, and if you have 10 points, your warning level is at 100%. Warnings are always given on a case by case basis.
If your infractions was small (such as a rule-breaking signature), typically you will receive a 0-point warning, meaning it is an official warning, but it does not count towards your warning level. Smaller infractions will be worth less, while larger infractions will be worth more. Only for major infractions will we ban you instantly.
We will always notify you using the private message system of your warning. You can also see your latest warnings from your User CP home page.
Reaching certain warning levels will enact certain punishments. The following actions will occur at the listed warning level:
- 50%: You will be placed on post moderation for 1 week.
- 80%: You will loose your posting privileges for 1 week.
- 100%: You will be banned from the forum for 1 week.
Punishments may be lengthened based on the infraction, at the staff member's discretion. The forum staff also reserves the rights to give warnings or bans for activities that are not included in the rules, on a case by case basis.
Your Privacy:
- The forum automatically logs all IP addresses. However, these IP addresses are only accessible to staff members and will only be used in extreme cases. Regular users will never see your IP address.
- You must enter your email address to register. We will never send an email to your email address from these forums without your permission. You have the ability to disable the emails from administrators in your User CP, as well as receiving emails from other users. Your email address is never shown on the forum. Only administrators can see your email address.
- Passwords are used to login to your account. Do not ever give out your password, regardless of who is asking. Doing so can compromise your account.
- Private messages will only be viewed by the administration when entirely necessary. Unless there is an issue brought to the administration's attention, private messages will always be private. We will only browse private messages when we deem it is entirely necessary to provide necessary punishment.
